Judith has worked with individuals with learning difficulties for 30 years. She worked for Bury Social Services and Bolton Education Authority before gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 1993 and a Post Graduate Diploma in dyslexia (Specific Learning Difficulties – SpLD`s) in 1996.

She was also a member of the development team and course tutor for the OCR Level 5 Certificate in Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia) and was instrumental in the development of the new qualification for the Learning Support Practitioners course (level 3). She was responsible for the assessment of both these courses.
Until recently she was an associate lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) working on the level 7 SpLD Further and Higher education course. She has experience in delivering dyslexia training in the UK and provides in-

She is a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Specific Learning Difficulties (Patoss) training team. She holds a Practising Certificate and two years ago she was appointed a director of Patoss.
